The LA Clippers have never won a championship in their history. This championship would mean a lot for all parties involved in the franchise.

The quest for a first championship in franchise history will start on Wednesday as the LA Clippers will play in scrimmages that will lead up to the eight seeding games that will start next week. This will be one of the toughest mental challenges that the NBA has ever asked its franchisees to endure.

The Clippers are one of the best teams in the league. By the grace of God, they have built a roster perfect for this situation. They have leadership, superstar talent and depth. The key will be to stay focused and healthy.

There will be plenty of distractions. There will be little things that happen in games from time to time, off-court issues and there will be a funk to deal with where things don’t go right (mostly in the beginning of it all because of the lack of play) but as professionals, they will have to overcome it.

After the pandemic shut down the season for a couple of months a lot has happened. There have been players testing positive for COVID-19 and America has rallied together to again deal with racial issues. It has been hard to avoid what has been going on. The goings-on of today have affected the Clippers franchise just like they have almost everybody in America.

The Clippers, a title contender, had meetings to decide if they even wanted to play in the Orlando games. They say if you want to obtain something you have to work for it and if the Clippers win a championship they will have earned it.

This organization has never won a championship. This is the best chance in their history to win it. While there was a big deal about the potential of playing in Orlando the Clippers’ first scrimmage will be on Wednesday and it will start off the franchise’s best chance to win a title in their entire history.
