Experienced Than the Rest

Rivers has been able to last in the NBA longer as a head coach than most coaches do. His resume is impeccable and he has been proven to win and win a lot in a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately environment.

Among active coaches, Rivers is second in career wins. His 2008 title is the oldest title among active coaches. Rivers has been doing it a long time and he has been winning longer than most of these coaches have had a job.

Other teams in Orlando like the Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets have had their coach and core players together for a longer time than the Clippers.

The Clippers, though, have been able to have the best chemistry in the league amid all their injures. Rivers system has been proven to work no matter what players he has. Ever since the 2012-13 season Rivers has made the playoffs every year except the 2017-18 season.

He has been a head coach ever since the beginning of the century and has only coached three teams his whole career. The former Coach of The Year has seen a lot, and it will come in handy during the Orlando play.
