7. Christian Eyenga

Christian Eyenga was the 30th overall selection by the Cavs in the 2009 NBA Draft and he’s still playing professional basketball, which is a plus. It’s just not happening in Cleveland – or the NBA, for that matter.

Eyenga had a stellar debut with the team on Jan. 2, 2011, scoring four points with three rebounds against the Dallas Mavericks. He ended up playing in 44 games and making 18 starts as a rookie, averaging 6.9 points per game on one of the worst Cavaliers teams in franchise history – they secured just 19 wins on the year, against 63 losses.

By the following season, he was a forgotten man in Cleveland. Eyenga played in just six games with the team before being traded (along with Ramon Sessions) to the Los Angeles Lakers for Jason Kapono, Luke Walton, and the pick that became Jared Cunningham. Eyenga would play just one game for the Lakers, then none for the Orlando Magic despite a brief stint on their roster.

Since then, Eyenga has been bouncing around professional basketball across the world. He has been playing for Fuenlabrada in the Spanish Liga ACB since the 2017-18 season and the Congolese forward was once named the All-Star Game MVP of the LBA in Italy.
