4 reasons the Miami Heat could make the NBA Finals

If everything goes right and with a bit of luck, the Miami Heat could possibly make the NBA Finals. Here are the reasons why this could be possible.

Yes, I know this is a stretch and most likely will not happen. Around a month ago, ESPN released their predictions for the playoffs and gave the Miami Heat only a 2.9 percent chance of even making the conference finals. Moreover, Bleacher Report has the Heat being bounced in the first round by the Philadelphia 76ers. So, what reasons could there be to support such wild prediction?

Currently, the Heat are sitting at a 41-24 record, which gives them the fourth seed. They are, however, only 2.5 games behind the Boston Celtics and 2.0 games ahead of the Indiana Pacers and the 76ers.

There are still eight games remaining that will change what the seedings look like and that will have an impact on the Heat significantly.

Recently, Victor Oladipo’s announcement that he won’t be joining the Pacers makes it easier for the Heat to have a deeper playoff run. Even before the season has started, there are things happening that make this prediction less wild.

There are four reasons the Miami Heat could make the NBA Finals. A combination of all four of these reasons with the addition of some outside luck could mean the Heat will be the most dangerous darkhorse in the league.
