Milwaukee Bucks: 3 key stats that could bolster title hopes
3. Solid offense
In order to have some level of success in the NBA, a team must possess the ability to put the ball in the basket. Fortunately for the Bucks, this is an area they excel in.
For starters, they are the highest-scoring team in the association, putting up 118.6 points per outing. The Bucks also have the best point differential in the league as well at +11.2.
Another area the Bucks perform well in is overall shooting. In fact, their 47.7 percent conversion rate is the second-highest mark in the NBA behind the Los Angeles Lakers, who are knocking down 48.5 percent of their overall shot attempts.
It is also worth mentioning that the Bucks are the top team in the league in pace (an estimate of the number of possessions a team has per 48 minutes), averaging 105 possessions per contest. Milwaukee is also the third-best team in transition, averaging 18.6 fast break points per contest.
And from a balance standpoint, well, they have that going for them as well. They have four players that are double-digit scorers, with three of those players averaging at least 15 points per contest.
Based on the numbers, it’s easy to see why opposing teams will have their hands full trying to stop this team from scoring at an efficient rate.
