6. Terrence Jones

The second of three players on this list drafted in the 2012 NBA Draft, Terrence Jones looked like he had the makings of a solid rotation player for years to come. His first season saw him spend a lot of time in the G-League but in his second season he began to take off. He would average 12.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks that season and looked to be on the rise.

The following season was marred by health issues, including nerve issues and a collapsed lung. The following season was more of the same and would lead to his replacement in the rotation by Clint Capela.

He would move on that summer and had a solid half-season with the New Orleans Pelicans, averaging 11.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.0 blocks off the bench for the Pelicans. After 51 games his time there was up as he was a cap casualty when the team traded for DeMarcus Cousins.

He would try to catch on in Milwaukee that season and back in Houston last season to no avail. Ultimately he would end up having a successful season in the Philippines. While he has struggled to make it back in the league he is still only 28 years old. Perhaps another return could still be in the works.
