The Pacers’ perspective

The Pacers are the exact definition of what we call “stuck in mediocrity”. They have been that way for almost two decades now and something’s gotta change in Indianapolis. If the franchise were to pull the trigger on a trade, it would most likely revolve around Oladipo, as opposed to some of the younger, more promising players they have.

It is unsure whether Myles Turner, Sabonis and co. can lead Indiana to the promised land. What we do know, though, is that this roster just ain’t cutting it. Perhaps with Victor out of the equation, some other players might step up for the team.

What exactly would the Pacers be looking for in a trade for Victor Oladipo? As getting a star in return is entirely utopian, the Pacers might settle for young players that have already established themselves in the league. Yes Mr. Kyle Kuzma, that means you.

Due to taking a step back this season with the arrival of Anthony Davis, most NBA fans are now completely sleeping on Kuz. He is a young, talented basketball player and a great locker room presence.

He is still just in his third season in the league and was rightfully considered to better than fan-favorite Jayson Tatum during their first two seasons. Kuzma is bound to shine on any team, as long as he is not overshadowed by established superstars.
