Jamal Crawford

As the previous name on this list, I can’t even begin to fathom how Jamal Crawford is still a free agent. The Phoenix Suns wasted his talent by leaving him at the end of the bench for most of the season. Despite recently turning 40 years of age in March, Crawford is still a formidable talent that can help the 76ers upon the season’s resumption.

The man who has come to be known as “J Crossover” is one of the most skilled players with the ball in his hands the world has ever seen. He has a killer crossover, and his signature move “shake and bake,” the double behind the back hop step is unguardable.

Crawford is a natural-born shot-creator and pure scorer that is deadly from almost anywhere on the court, especially from 3-point range. In his last NBA appearance, Crawford dropped 51 points against the Dallas Mavericks.

A career 34.8 percent 3-point shooter, Crawford holds the record for four-point plays with 55 during the regular season and five more in the playoffs. The NBA defines a four-point play as a possession where a player is fouled while making a three-point shot, and who subsequently makes the free throw, for a total of four points.

Up until the 2017-2018 season, Crawford was a perennial Sixth Man of the Year candidate, winning the award a record three times. He is the first player in NBA history since the award’s inception in 1982, to receive the award three times.

Though he can be a liability on defense, Crawford can still score at will and put pressure on defenses in the open court with his elite handles and playmaking ability. Crawford would be a welcome addition to this 76ers team.
