Based on their play throughout the 2019-20 NBA season, several players may need a change of scenery this offseason to rejuvenate their careers.

Sometimes the best thing that a player can do to revitalize their career is to find a new home and start fresh. Look at Carmelo Anthony of the Portland Trail Blazers, for example. After about a year out of the league, Portland gave Anthony a chance to get back into the league, and although he was not the Melo of old, he still proved he had a place in the NBA with some stellar play.

Many believe that former Rookie of the Year Andrew Wiggins could break out next season with the Golden State Warriors alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson as well. The forward could not find a solid rhythm during his five and a half years with the Minnesota Timberwolves but now has an opportunity to jumpstart his career in a new setting.

The same can get said for numerous players that took a significant step back in the 2019-20 campaign. Whether it be because of fit, style of play, or whatever else, sometimes a fresh start elsewhere can do wonders for a player, particularly a young one that has not yet reached their prime.

For several players in particular, this is certainly the case as what once seemed to be a promising career ahead has seemingly stalled. As described with Wiggins and Anthony, sometimes all a player needs is a new setting, and these three players are undoubtedly in need of one.
