Probable Matchup with Lakers

The Clippers/Lakers matchup was one of the bigger matchups that everybody wanted to see. Those two teams have looked like the best in the league. The Milwaukee Bucks may have something to say about that but at least on the Western Conference side of things the Clippers and Lakers look like the cream of the crop.

More from LA Clippers

This matchup could decide the NBA championship. Both teams are top in offensive and defensive rating. They are the top five teams in a lot of the categories like blocks, rebounds, steals, field goal percentage, second-chance points and fast-break points. They have been on a collision course throughout the whole season and the Western Conference Finals will be something to watch wherever it’s played.

This is the matchup that everyone wants to see. Both these teams wanted to play again because of their chances to play in the Finals. LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard will be facing off again as they have before in the Finals. This could be James’ chance to avenge the 2014 NBA Finals match. This could be Leonard’s chance to take the throne as the best player in the league.

When these two teams face off a lot will be on the line. The Lakers have been the best team in LA for the longest time. The Clippers will have the chance to claim the battle for LA for at least a year. Career resumes will be on the line. Paul George has never been to an NBA Finals. LeBron James wants to win more championships. Kawhi Leonard could cement his name as one of the best players ever. This will be the Clipper’s first title in their history which will be big.

What will happen in Orlando? We all can’t wait to find out.
