Realistic free agents for the Chicago Bulls
Honorable mentions
Anthony Davis
Has of the title it’s a list of realistic free agents, I felt it was required to mention Anthony Davis as a hometown hero but he is set on winning so why would he leave LA for the Bulls?. We can rejoice when he joins the Bulls in his late 30’s as Dwayne Wade did, but until then the brow won’t be a Bull.
Aron Baynes
Aron Baynes is a cult hero on Twitter but more importantly a solid center in the NBA. He’s added a 3-point shot to his overwhelming strength as a defender and as a stabilizer on the Boston Celtics behind Al Horford a season ago. Baynes would be great as a veteran big for the Bulls to mentor Carter and Gafford, but that’s the issue. He may limit the progression of the two bigs and has had health issues so perhaps the money is better spent on guards and forwards.
Evan Fournier
Evan Fournier would fit well in the role I’ve suggested Bogdan Bogdanovic would fill, but the Orlando Magic are likely to resign him as they would have little to no offensive without him. The Magic should be willing to outbid what the Chicago Bulls could offer.
