The Chicago Bulls season is over as the NBA moves into the playoffs. Now looking into the offseason who should the Bulls focus to sign in free agency?

The Chicago Bulls‘ season has ended as the 22 NBA teams have been picked and going to Disney World. Mercifully, the Bulls weren’t included in that group so now the front office and fans set their eyes to the offseason for the draft and free agency.

The Bulls have some clear holes in their team with no passing point guard as Coby White while having a good season is a shooter and isn’t going to lead your team by being a multi-talented guard. The Bulls’ issues also fell on health as Wendell Carter Jr., Lauri Markkanen and Otto Porter all missed significant time during the season.

Not only did the Bulls struggle on the court they suffered off the court with the GarPax front office finally being released after the season was halted due to COVID-19, as the front office brought in Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley to take over in executive positions. This has left Jim Boylen on a thin piece of ice as he was considered one of the worst coaches in the league this season.

Jay Williams said on ESPN’s The Jump:

"“Some of the numbers speak for themselves, 2-23 against teams .500 and better, their longest winning streak was two games. I can’t tell you how many times I saw hands waving him off, facial expressions towards him and reading articles about the workouts being too archaic.”"

This article will look at who could be targeted for the Bulls in free agency. However, as the offseason and salary cap is up in the air due to COVID-19, I will not mention how much money the Bulls will have in the offseason. This is due to the rules and amount of money each team has is likely to change depending on who will opt into their contracts and how the Disney World playoffs recoup the basketball-related income that dictates the salary cap.
