Blake Griffin

Blake Griffin would be the best fit for this team now with the already athletic duo of Leonard and George. Griffin added to this team would be seamless. The fast break game would rival that of the showtime Lakers with more focus on the dunks than the passing.

George is a great dunker with one of the legendary in-game dunk packages in the league. Griffin during his time with the Clippers probably had one of the greatest dunk packages in the history of the NBA.

This team would be one of the best finishing teams in the league. With superior talent on the defensive end, they would have somebody to finish on the other end.

In fact, if the Clippers had George or Leonard added to the Lob City teams in the past those teams would be Finals teams instantly.

The problem would be that if Griffin wanted to have the kind of career he had during the Lob City era he would have to create more of his own offense since Paul wouldn’t be there. His progression would have to excel what his original career showed.

Griffin’s name wouldn’t be called much on offense unless he learned how to play with his back to the basket efficiently. His amazing dunks would most likely come off fastbreaks after defensive stops by Leonard and George.

Griffin is a superstar though and he would eventually figure out how to play with this team.

Griffin was a great rebounder during his time with the Clippers. He would certainly have to be a double-double player with this team due to more shots at the wing position.

During his time with the LA Clippers Griffin averaged 21.6 points and 9.3 rebounds. With this team, he would be a great third option. His points per game would go down and his rebounds would go up.

To win championships players have to sacrifice. Griffin would have to sacrifice big time but if they could get him to do that then this team would win the Finals.
