The LA Clippers are already one of the best teams in the league but what if they could add one of their past players? That would be a recipe for success.

With the NBA season set to resume now, it’s time to start looking at rosters and seeing which team will be able to make it to the Finals. The LA Clippers have one of the best rosters and will be there when it’s time to decide who will win a championship.

What former players that played for this team would help this current team though? What players would take this team to another level? The type of players we are looking for have to be superstars.

These superstars would have to be able to boost the current team into an instant Finals caliber team. players that would be able to do that would have to boost the half-court play.

The Clippers have had great superstars in their past like Adrian Dantley and Bob McAdoo. For this list though recent players would have to do because it’s easier to project their ability to help this team.

Players like Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, if added to this team, would propel them into a Finals-caliber team even more than they already are. To add on to the half-court subject because George and Leonard will take most of the shots and they are wing players this team would need to have more efficient players at the four or the one.

Wing players take riskier shots. Those players at those positions would fix efficiency problems.

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard with another star at the four position or at the one would be the unquestioned favorite to go to the Finals and even win it all. That is, of course, assuming all other teams did not do anything.

The power forward and point guard position were the focus of this article because those are the positions that fit what the LA Clippers have already. Patrick Beverley and Marcus Morris Sr. are great complements but they could do even better at those positions. Here are the three players that could help out the Clippers.
