11. The Redeem Team

According to Dwyane Wade, this is a documentary that is apparently in the works, and we’d be on board with it 100 percent.

Following a disappointing Olympics run in 2004, Team USA was looking to prove everyone wrong and redeem themselves with a gold medal in 2008. Featuring a squad with Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Dwight Howard, etc, Team USA would end up redeeming themselves from their 2004 run, impressively winning the gold medal.

With a stacked lineup, Team USA was able to topple teams such as the dangerous Spain team that featured a determined Pau Gasol. But really, it was the pure objective of winning Gold or losing the respect of the whole country that was on Team USA’s minds.

A team so desperate to rewrite their wrongs from the previous Olympics, and they were great to watch. We get to relive how important their Olympics run was to the world of basketball. There is some pretty cool footage of Chris Paul, LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard and Deron Williams eating burgers at a gas station.

For any NBA fan, it makes sense for some willing filmmakers to consider the legitimacy of this topic. Considering that the documentary is already in the works, we’d be up for it. Besides, the Olympics were supposed to be soon, so what could go wrong with some FIBA basketball.
