14. The Life and Career of Kobe Bryant

Arguably one of the greatest players in NBA history, a documentary isn’t enough for Kobe Bryant. We need a docu-series, the same size as The Last Dance.

This concept has bought a lot of fanfare from every NBA fan, considering how important Bryant was for the NBA. His sudden and traumatic passing in January this year broke every fan down, Kobe supporter or not.

From that incident, fans have become more grateful for Kobe’s impact on the sport, and he’s become one of the most talked-about athletes since his retirement in 2016. From his career debut in 1996, Kobe was ridiculously successful over his 20-year career, cementing himself as easily one of the most influential players over the 2000s and 2010s.

It’s hard to explain why he doesn’t deserve one.

We’re not talking about a documentary. We’re talking about a fully-fledged docu-series, similar to The Last Dance, detailing his career in LA. It won’t be boring at all, considering how dedicated to basketball Kobe was, and his dedication equaled a huge amount of success.

Episodes can look at his hardships, his teammates, his championships, everything that made Kobe as prominent as he is today. Even out-of-basketball aspects, such as his relationship with his family, his commitment to women’s basketball and even his pre-NBA years in Italy would be worth a look.
