2. Shaq and Kobe

Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant left an everlasting legacy in Los Angeles, playing eight superb seasons together. But it’s not a run-of-the-mill story with these two. Things started to get rocky towards the end, leading to bad blood that lingered well after

Shaq and Kobe won three straight championships from 2000 to 2002. Most importantly, this duo has gone down in history as the most dominant in years. Nothing was as scary as facing the tandem, especially with Phil Jackson leading the charge on the coaching end.

As great as they were, these two had some bad blood at the end of their storied partnership, almost as if it was a clash of the titans. It was a frustration rift and somewhat of a power struggle between two different personalities.

Still, this duo had some glorious moments that have been showcased in some of the best highlights on the internet, including that fantastic comeback against the Portland Trail Blazers in the WCF Game 7 of the 2000 conference finals. This duo was fantastic in all ways, pulling off the classic hero-to-sidekick shtick that worked.

A documentary isn’t needed for this. It’s not good enough for such a power-driven duo, we need a damn docu-series. You could easily combine a simple Kobe docu-series with this one and it could work.

But one of the most storied duos in the history of sports needs a docu-series to retrace everyone’s memories before they consider the Lebron-Anthony Davis duo as the best in recent memory. We know, it ended on a sour note, but who cares? Shaq and Kobe won three championships in a row.
