7. The Post-MJ Bulls

This is something that relates to The Last Dance, a look into the turmoil and disappointment that has been the post-MJ Chicago Bulls.

Following that dominant span in the 1990s, the Bulls were eventually thrown straight into the deep end after their final season in 1998. Most of the players who were apart of their dominance were immediately traded or waived by general manager Jerry Krause.

The team would nose-dive into a disappointing span where they’d be constantly tanking for their next prodigal son, but they never received that. It was so fascinating to see how quickly Chicago floundered without that championship core, and the effects would be present to this day.

After The Last Dance captivated audiences, this would serve as a sequel in some terms. Casual fans wonder where all these players went, and this documentary would serve perfectly as a dessert. It’s still a prominent case that is so important since fans got to witness such a dominant franchise take the reigns. Eventually, they’d fall off as quickly as ever.

It’s insane that this team would go from Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman to just Toni Kukoc and Ron Harper. Even a look into how the team would eventually gain their next prodigal son in Derrick Rose would be an awesome topic for this documentary to cover.
