Los Angeles Lakers: 7 best out-of-prime Lakers
4. Dennis Rodman
Yeap, just who everybody that watched “The Last Dance” wanted to see. Lately, it seems like Dennis Rodman has been constantly rising in popularity, and quite honestly, can you really blame him after all the crazy stuff he’s done?
Basketball-wise, Rodman is known for being one of the best rebounders and defenders in NBA history and a proud member of two different championship dynasties that awarded him a total of five Larry O’Brien trophies.
Rodman signed with the team in 1999, right after winning his fifth ring. He joined an incredibly stacked team that possessed the likes of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal. The year that Rodman joined the team, these Lakers were still an incredibly young team and lost in the second round.
Even though Rodman’s numbers weren’t that far off from his prime self, it was clear that he was undergoing his professional decline at the time.
