2. Westbrook’s Energy

Westbrook is not only the NBA’s most athletic player, but he is also the league’s most energetic player. Nobody in the league brings more energy on a nightly basis than Westbrook. He’s used his energy throughout his career to ignite his teammates and the fans and he has done the same thing this season with the Rockets.

People can argue that Westbrook can bring top-notch energy because he has been not been playing in back-to-back games this season due to two surgeries he underwent during the 2019 offseason, but that argument is flawed.

Just look to his time with the Oklahoma City Thunder in which he played 80 or more regular-season games in seven of his 11 seasons in Oklahoma City with the most energy on the floor every night. Westbrook never shows a lack of effort no matter the score.

Westbrook’s energy elevates his team to another level and the stats back this up. Westbrook has only been a part of one losing season over his 12 years in the NBA and was on pace to make his 10th playoff appearance this season before the league went on hiatus. The bottom line is that Westbrook is a winner.
