All in all, each individual mentioned in this list is a phenomenal talent. Though some of their skills have not and will not translate to the NBA, their supreme level as a basketball player must not be overlooked. Playing in the NBA is no easy task, especially when we consider only 300 out of 7 billion people in the world are on an NBA roster.

In regards to the NBA Draft, only 60 out of 10,000+ U.S. college players (and just as many international players) are selected by an NBA team. Being drafted into the league alone is a huge accomplishment in itself.

Only a fraction of those 60, however, truly make a basketball name for themselves. Just scan through the last 10 NBA Drafts, and try to see how many names you even recognize; I bet even a man with the most basketball knowledge would recognize fewer names than expected.

Many try, and many fail to make it to the league, never mind be successful in it.

The NBA is a special league, and the NBA Draft is a special process.

And the Golden State Warriors, with the exception of a few blunders, have made the most of their selections.
