Number 4: Taurean Prince

Taurean Prince has had the edge of playing four seasons already so there is more to judge his ability on than the previously selected players. Drafted nine picks prior to the aforementioned DeAndre’ Bembry, Prince has certainly reached his potential more so than his draft mate.

Prince excelled as a scorer starting in his second season, where he averaged a career-high 14.1 points to go along with 4.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists. He fits the mold as the projected three-and-D prospect and was valuable enough for the Brooklyn Nets to trade for him last summer.

His number dipped this season as he is playing with more ball-dominant star talent but that was always to be expected. Still finding a way to fit his role, he averaged a career-high 6.0 rebounds to go along with 12.1 points and 1.8 assists. Given the log jam at the wing in Brooklyn alongside Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie and Joe Harris, this is still a solid stat line for a guy playing real minutes for the first time in his career on a playoff team.

While some of the younger guys on this list will likely pass up Prince in due time, for now excelling at your given role for multiple seasons was enough for him to sneak just a little higher on this list.
