#27 Pick – New Orleans Hornets: Anthony Morrow (Originally: Darrell Arthur)

After going undrafted in the 2008 Draft, Morrow debuted with the Warriors and made quite a career for himself.

It’s easy to forget how strong of a 3-point shooter Anthony Morrow was with a career 41.7 percent 3-point percentage. That mark is good enough to give him the 16th best career 3-point percentage in NBA/ABA history.

Morrow played three seasons where he shot over 45 percent from 3-point and three more above 42 percent.

The past couple of seasons, Morrow has been attempting to make a return to the NBA after last playing in 2017. I was quite surprised myself that a team like the Houston Rockets, who seemed desperate for 3-point shooting, didn’t sign him halfway through the season.

If this entire draft time traveled into 2019, Morrow would likely be a top 15 pick. However, due to the era he was drafted in and his shortened career, he is likely only worth a late-first round pick.
