With the current stagnation of the Philadelphia 76ers starting lineup, here are some potential trade targets that could shake up the roster this offseason.
When the Philadelphia 76ers assembled their starting lineup, the entire premise was fairly straightforward. Because the Sixers lost Jimmy Butler in the summer of 2019, the team pivoted and changed the entire philosophy of the team.

Specifically, the Sixers moved towards “bully ball” by bringing in Al Horford and Josh Richardson. The starting lineup seemed formidable, considering the fact that no starter stood shorter than 6’6″. The dream was to have a team that could easily switch on pick-and-rolls.
Defensively, the team seemed like a match made in heaven. They would, in theory, be able to suffocate the opposition with their size. For what it’s worth, the Sixers have been a solid defensive team, posting a +8.6 point differential per 100 possessions.
However, that sort of play did not translate on offense. Now, it’s no secret that the Philadelphia 76ers have had their troubles with their starting lineup. In terms of spacing, the starting lineup of Ben Simmons, Josh Richardson, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, and Joel Embiid posted a -0.3 3-point percentage minus their opponent’s 3-point percentage. In short, the Philadelphia 76ers have a spacing problem.
As such, the Sixers may be in the market to shake things up if things continue to go south. While it may make sense to stay the course for now, the thought of moving a piece or two may be enticing at the right price. With that in mind, here are four trade options for the Sixers to consider.
