Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns have not made the playoffs since 2010, and have been one of the NBA’s biggest disappointments in recent years. Led by All-Star guard Devin Booker, the team has not been able to find any real success over the years, but a trade for Oladipo could shake things up.

The Suns placed at 13th in the Western Conference before the NBA suspended its season, as it appeared the team was in the midst of another lackluster year. Devin Booker made his first All-Star Game, and former No.1 overall draft pick Deandre Ayton showed signs of potential, but it was not enough to get them over the hump they have faced in recent years.

Aside from Booker, the team has not had a genuine star in recent years, and Oladipo could change that. Both Booker and Oladipo play the shooting guard position, but Phoenix’s head coach Monty Williams said that he wants to play the 23-year-old more at point guard next season, which would allow Oladipo to take that second guard spot.

A backcourt of Booker and Oladipo would instantly become one of the league’s most electric and exciting while giving the team a much-needed star to help them contend. As of right now, the Suns are not trending upwards by any means in the jam-packed Western Conference and need to make some move before things go south.

A Big 3 of Booker, Oladipo, and Ayton, although maybe not title contenders, has the potential to make some noise in this league.
