Redrafting the 2015 NBA Draft: Role players everywhere

#25 Pick: Delon Wright (Originally: Jarell Martin)
Figuring out where to go with Memphis here was not an easy task as were finishing off their stronger playoff runs at this point. At this point, it is plenty of reserve players and looking to develop some big men. Given the number of big men on this roster that seems ill-advised. Backup point guard seems like the best option for a team that went through plenty of them the following season.
Delon Wright saw his most success in his single season in Memphis last season individually, averaging 12.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.6 steals in the 26 games he was with the team. In his role as a reserve for the Raptors, he saw strong production as well, though not necessarily to that extent.
He is a solid three-point shooter, bringing a more modern element to the Grizzlies at that time and would have helped spell Mike Conley and eased the burden of his aging. While they would not swap Wright out for their current savior at the position he would still have been a solid backup option had he not moved on to Dallas to come off the bench behind Luka Doncic.
