Redrafting the 2015 NBA Draft: Role players everywhere

#16 Pick: Mario Hezonja (Originally: Terry Rozier)
A nice potential play for the Celtics at 16, taking Mario Hezonja who originally went fifth overall in this draft. While he has not yet lived up to the potential that had him the upgrade in coaching could do a world of good for someone like Hezonja.
Going from the Magic to the Knicks is a quick way to get lost in the shuffle but his per 36 minutes in his last season in Florida and only season in New York are promising. In his third year in the league per 36 minutes he averaged 15.7 points and 6.1 rebounds with shooting splits of .442/.337/.819. His efficiency dipped in New York but he still averaged a respectable 15.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per 36 minutes.
He has been back in a reserve role in Portland, only getting about 16.3 minutes per game with his first stellar coaching experience in Terry Stotts. Time will tell if coaching and fit are enough to realize his sky-high potential. But again at 16 it is worth taking a shot on, especially with another first-rounder to select a more safe play later on.
The biggest negative of missing out on Rozier would be the sign-and-trade possibilities that landed them Kemba Walker this past summer. That being said, they were able to sign Walker outright and only did the trade as a secondary option.
