Redrafting the 2015 NBA Draft: Role players everywhere

#14 Pick: Bobby Portis (Originally: Cameron Payne)
For a team looking to strengthen their bench after barely missing the playoffs due to injuries, this miss on Cam Payne is a major swing and a miss. So going with the best talent available sees the team landing Bobby Portis.
Portis is talented without a doubt but has a history of attitude issues. That being said a winning culture fixes a lot of these issues and Westbrook seems like he would love the dog that he finds in Portis. He is a multi-positional big man who has averaged double figures in scoring the last four seasons. He has the ability to stretch the floor and was a solid rebounder before heading to New York this season where there are too many bigs to get good rebounding numbers.
Even with his aggressive nature he is not a foul-prone player though he could use some improvement on the defensive side of the ball. Billy Donovan just feels like the kind of coach who could get more out of Portis and Portis is the kind of guy who would have benefited from landing in a winning situation rather than chaos.
