#10 Pick: Christian Wood (Originally: Justice Winslow)

Am I biased? Absolutely, but just hear me out on this suggestion because Christian Wood has a world of talent. The biggest issue for Wood at this time was maturity but if there is ever any organization that could have helped him earlier it is the Miami Heat. This is the season the Heat brought in Hassan Whiteside, but imagine they took on Christian Wood instead of maxing Whiteside a soon after.

Heat culture, as they tout any time you will listen, has a way to make those who want to work grow up and get better. Giving Christian Wood to Pat Riley, Eric Spoelstra, Udonis Haslem and Chris Bosh early in his career seems like a recipe for success.

Per 36 minutes this season, Christian Wood looks like an All-Star, averaging 22 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.4 combined blocks and steals. The team is not winning much but with players coming back from injury he will excel even more. Playing alongside Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh sounds better than Thon Maker, Bruce Brown and Svi Mykhailiuk if I am being honest.
