The NBA has several young players that are ascending to stardom in today’s game, but which of them could potentially become the face of the league?
LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has served as the unquestioned face of the NBA for over a decade now. With three championships and four Most Valuable Player awards, James has lived in a league of his own as the best player.

However, in recent years, other players challenged James’ spot on the throne, as they made their case to be considered one of the best. Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets is the most notable name, but others such as Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, and Kawhi Leonard of the LA Clippers also find themselves placed in the conversation.
While those three players absolutely have a case to be made, what about the next wave of players? The young players on the rise to stardom who are still yet to reach their primes. The players that already possess not just superstar potential, but the possibility to be the best player in the league.
Several players have a case, but a select few stand above the rest when it comes down to it. Although he will go down as one of the greatest to ever play, LeBron James is not going to be playing forever. At some point, he will retire and leave the door open for the next player in line to claim his spot. When that happens, which young players could potentially take the throne and become the future face of the league?
