Former Chicago Bulls guard Michael Jordan struggled against the Detroit Pistons in postseason competition. Here’s a look at some of his top moments against Detroit.

One could also talk about the fact that he won 10 scoring titles, six NBA Finals MVPs and five regular-season MVP trophies as well. Let’s also not forget that Jordan earned nine All-Defensive First Team selections. He led the NBA in steals three times and he was also named the All-Star MVP three different times as well.
As was the case with the NBA champions that preceded him, Jordan had his fair share of obstacles to overcome before he became a six-time champion. The obstacle in question was none other than the Detroit Pistons.
Behind a physical and borderline dirty brand of basketball, the Pistons won back-to-back championships in 1989-90 and made life a living hell for Jordan and the Bulls. In fact, they eliminated the Bulls from the playoffs three consecutive years.
Perhaps this is why Jordan mentioned that he still loathes those Bad Boys teams to this day. But despite the fact that those Bulls teams came up short a few times in those highly-tempered postseason clashes with Detroit, Jordan did have some memorable moments in those encounters.
So, without further ado, here’s a chronological look back at some of Jordan’s best postseason moments against the Pistons.
