Like the first two episodes, Sunday nightâs installment of ESPNâs MJ docu-series, The Last Dance, oozed headline-grabbing quotes. Here are the best excerpts from episodes three and four.
The first two episodes of ESPNâs The Last Dance MJ doc, which chronicles the story of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bullsâ dynasty in the 1990s, absolutely flew by. Among the highlights were the depiction of general manager Jerry Krause as an attention-seeking sociopath, the verbal abuse directed towards Krause by his players, a rookie Jordan walking in on a drug-infested hotel room, Scottie Pippenâs fallout with the team, and much more.
The documentaryâs highly-hyped debut weekend lived up to its billing as over 12 million quarantined folks tuned in to watch, and we can expect a similar figure for Sunday nightâs installment of episodes three and four, which were just as thrilling to take in.
Given the topics that were tackled here â the Bullsâ rivalry with the âBad Boyâ Detroit Pistons, Jordanâs game-winning shot against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 1989 playoffs, Dennis Rodmanâs party-centric life after being traded to Chicago, Phil Jacksonâs rise as a head coach, etc â it doesnât really come as much of a surprise that the 120-minute frenzy featured a flood of unforgettable quotes. I mean, how could it not?
Weâve managed to pull our favorite excerpts from episodes three and four. Prepare your ears, folks, because there was A LOT of cussing (although you can watch a more sanitized, family-friendly version with curse words bleeped out on ESPN2).
