2. Treveon Graham

Treveon Graham is one of the players the Hawks acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier in the season. It’s hard to envision him having much of a future in Atlanta beyond this season, though.

The 26-year-old shooting guard is on his fourth NBA team. He entered the league undrafted out of VCU in 2015 and has had to grind at every stop to prove his worth. He’s played for the Charlotte Hornets, Brooklyn Nets and Timberwolves before coming to Atlanta, but he has only made it past one season with one of those teams (Charlotte).

Graham was a nominal starter in Minnesota to start the season, but he has come exclusively off the bench for the Hawks. In 22 games in Atlanta, Graham has averaged 3.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game, struggling to crack the rotation at 12.1 minutes per game, his lowest total since his rookie season.

Graham is playing this season on a minimum deal he signed with Brooklyn back in 2018 and retaining him would be a relatively cheap option of the Hawks need depth to round out the roster. He’s going to be a restricted free agent at the end of the season, though, and it may just be easier to let him walk.
