2. Joe Harris

Joe Harris is far from being a star in the league. Similarly to VanVleet, he is not the one you’ll target to carry you to glory. But in this era of basketball that we are witnessing, no team can ever be considered a contender without having one–at least– Joe Harris type of player.

Harris, though only in his fifth season in the league, is already 28 years of age. He entered the NBA at the age of 23 and did not make a name for himself until 2016. Regardless of his lack of experience, Harris is exactly what you’d call “a sniper” from behind the arc.

During the 2017-18 season, Harris shot 41.9 percent from 3-point range. The year that followed, he went 47.4 percent and led the league. This season, he is shooting 41.2 percent. He truly is, one of a kind.

Harris established himself as an elite 3-point shooter around the league by winning the 3-point contest in 2019.

The New York Knicks appear to be in desperate need of some quality shooting from behind the arc. With Harris already being a New York City resident, could this be a match made in heaven?

Due to the Brooklyn Nets signing both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving last season, the money situation is a little tight for them. That would be the perfect chance for the Knicks to swoop in and steal an extremely valuable weapon away from their cross-city rivals.
