Here are three things you need to know before starting the first part of the 10 hour documentary on Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, The Last Dance.

On Sunday, April 19th, ESPN will debut the first two parts of a ten-part documentary series titled The Last Dance that will tell the story of the Chicago Bulls 1997-98 season and how Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson willed their way to a three-peat title despite being at odds with Bulls management.

The documentary team was given unprecedented access to one of the most fascinating seasons in NBA history, and the 10 hours, which includes footage from the season and sit-down interviews with everyone from Kobe Bryant to Bob Costas, is sure to be a fill of basketball content in a time when NBA fans are desperate for substance.

The series will continue each Sunday with two episodes per Sunday through May 17th.

Before the series kicks off, here are some things you must know, context details regarding what to expect in the first episode which will lay the foundation for the story to be told over the following eight episodes.
