#30 Pick: Tim Frazier (Originally: Kyle Anderson)

We have come to the end and found another guy contributing situationally that would have been an interesting fit in the Spurs system. Tim Frazier has shown flashes of solid scoring from a backup point guard, like when he previously averaged 13.1 points in under 30 minutes per game for 16 games in New Orleans. There are also multiple 10 plus-game stretches that he averaged over seven assists per game.

A small sample size is the defining factor of Frazier’s career, and he has never been able to find a place to stick for that reason, having played for two different teams in three of his six seasons.

However, being a stud in a small sample size is the truest indication of a Spurs role player and it is very easy to see Tim Frazier filling that role in a playoff game for the team.

And that wraps it up. Only one lottery pick fell out of the lottery, so apologies to Nik Stauskas. Leave it to the Kings to take a guy with the eighth overall pick that would fall in this way.

When your career highlights include a career-high 24 points during an opening night game a couple of years into your career and when the teleprompter accidentally put your name in the subtitles as “Sauce Castillo,” that kind of says it all.

Next. Each NBA team's best trade ever. dark
