#26: Dante Exum (Originally: P.J. Hairston)

Jumping back into the silly Shabazz Napier trade mentioned before, never be surprised when Michael Jordan swings and misses on an ACC product, this time PJ Hairston. That the temptation to go with James Michael McAdoo was at an all-time high makes this the time to take a chance on Dante Exum.

Exum had all the potential in the world and could not stay healthy. This pick is with the hopes that he will be able to remain marginally healthy and live up to some of the potential that originally got him drafted as high as he did.

Hairston was not able to stay on the court for a plethora of other reasons, so Exum would be an improvement at least in that regard.

Jordan could go the safer route if he wanted to, but taking a chance to build better around Kemba Walker could have gone a long way.

Exum and Warren, who we added earlier in the draft, would add more options to a roster that needed all the help it could get. This was a playoff team this year but could still have used an infusion of talent.
