2. Joe Harris

Joe Harris is about to be a very sought after and rich basketball player. That’s what happens when you turn yourself into one of the best 3-point shooters in the NBA.

Harris is actually having a “down” year in regards to his most translatable skill – he’s only shooting an embarrassing 41.2 percent from 3-point range, his worst conversion rate since his first season with the Brooklyn Nets. For comparison’s sake, he shot 47.4 percent last season, leading the NBA.

Still, Harris is a monster when it comes to knocking down perimeter shots and spacing the floor. He has also displayed a tendency to put in hard work inside, coming down with a career-high 4.3 rebounds per game this season, including 1.0 offensive rebounds per game.

Every team could use more 3-point shooting. The Raptors are actually one of the better 3-point shooting teams in the league, ranking sixth at 37.1 percent makes, although that could be harmed by Gasol’s likely departure.

Harris has carved out a starter’s role in the NBA, which might displace either Powell or Anunoby next season. It’s also possible a bidding war will price the Raptors out of Harris’ market. Nevertheless, targeting one of the league’s best 3-point shooters is a must for Toronto.
