2: 44 PTS, 9 AST, 8 REBS vs New Orleans Pelicans (December 5th)

Statistically, this can be considered to be his best game of the season, and rightfully so. In an overtime win, Booker was able to take over completely against a Zion-less New Orleans Pelicans.

Booker was able to notch up a season-high 44 points on a great 56 percent shooting from the field. Booker was also able to nail five threes, which was his second-highest throughout the season. Though he did turn the ball over five times and he fouled four times, Booker was able to snatch the ball twice.

Booker also shoot a perfect 13-of-13 from the free-throw line, most of them coming in the clutch. It’s hard to compare this performance to the top game, but still, this game was absolutely fantastic.

The only thing that contrasts the top spot to the second spot, is the fact that Booker was able to dominate an injured and struggling Pelicans squad. Booker did absolutely dominate in his most well-rounded performance to date, and this should be regarded as one of his best showings throughout his massive career. It was also a fantastic showing from Frank Kaminsky and Cameron Johnson, who broke out and nailed down threes on the lackluster Pelicans. Booker did carry, to an extent, but the help from his teammates truly sealed the win for the Suns.

It can be argued that this game deserves to rank at the top, but it was a win earlier in the season that truly cemented his spot as a legit superstar.
