Four best moments of the Portland Trail Blazers season

Damian Lillard’s hot streak

Portland Trail Blazers fans know they have something special in Damian Lillard.  On January 20th he reminded us all of the prodigious talent that he possesses. This was the first of six games where the letter O showed us why he wants to go down as the best Trail Blazers in history.

Over the six-game period, Lallard was simply exceptional. The numbers he produced were phenomenal. Over the period, Lillard averaged 48.8 points, 10.2 assists, 7.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game.

His shooting was also out of this world. He shot at 54.8 percent from the floor, 57.0 percent from deep and 92.3 percent from the line. To put it simply, he was unstoppable. However, it was not just his scoring which helped the Blazers win five out of these six games.

Lillard had for games with over ten assists and two games with ten rebounds. He also had a steal in every single game. His all-round talent was on full display.  Lillard had five games of the six where he had double-doubles. He even had his first triple-double against the Houston Rockets in this stretch.

This stretch of six games highlighted what Oklahoma City Thunder fans already know about Lillard. He cannot be taken for granted, his ability to explode, and take a contest away from the opposition is one of the best in the entire association.
