C.J. Wilcox

The third straight player on this list that has not been successful in his time in Los Angeles. In 2014, the LA Clippers had selected C.J. Wilcox with the 28th overall pick. Just like the previous two players, Wilcox spent most of his NBA career in the G-League.

He played a total of 44 games for the Clippers and in those games, he averaged, 6.1 minutes, 2.5 points, 0.4 rebounds, and 0.4 assists – again, not a very great career. After the Clippers, he was traded to the Orlando Magic and since then he has been bouncing around on several G-League teams.

Jerome Robinson

Here is the first lottery selection on this list, that just shows that the LA Clippers have been quite successful in the last 10 years or so. In the 2018 NBA draft, the Clippers selected Jerome Robinson. So far into his career, which is not even two full seasons, he has been a solid young role player off the bench.

In his time in Los Angeles, he averaged 10.6 minutes, 3.1 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game and spent the entire time coming off the bench. Just like the other players listed before, he was shortly traded.

After this seasons’ trade deadline, the Clippers had traded Robinson to the Washington Wizards, where he received an increase in his minutes and shot attempts. After a mere 13 games with the Wizards, his minutes and scoring had doubled whilst also improving his efficiency from both inside and outside the arc.
