2012 NBA Redraft: How wrong we were in real time

#20 Pick: Tomas Satoransky (Originally: Evan Fournier)

One of the better teams in the west is also one likely the most adversely affected by me deleting the aforementioned Dwight Howard trade as they no longer end up with Andre Iguodala, who played one season with the Nuggets that saw them win 57 games.

Regardless, I went with the draft-and-stash of Tomas Satoransky as he is likely the best player available and no other player immediately available changes the course of this season much. Satoransky is a very solid bench guard and even though he would not have come over during this run of Nuggets basketball imaging him as another one of the solid bench players on this team is tantalizing.

Easing the burden on Jamal Murray as a ball-handler would allow the young Nuggets to get ahead of the game in terms of developing their young guards and would help to make Gary Harris more expendable.

Yes, the Nuggets have had a plethora of young wings over the last few years and adding Satoransky may seem too similar. But if we have learned anything in the current landscape is you cannot have too many good wings and Satoransky is the best player available.
