Feb. 25 vs. Detroit Pistons

Following their disappointing five-point overtime loss to Detroit earlier in the month, the Nuggets were out for blood the second time around. Denver won at home handily this time around by a 115-98 score, and Jerami Grant led the charge for the squad, particularly in the fourth quarter to close things out.

Grant started off small with just two points in the first quarter, but by the time the half had come to a close, he had a respectable eight points on an efficient 4-of-5 shooting performance from the field.

In the third quarter, Grant kept the ball rolling and steadily gathered steam, recording another seven points in just over five minutes of play.

The Nuggets entered the final period up ten, and Grant made it his personal mission from that point on to prevent the Pistons from bridging the gap. He played all 12 minutes in the quarter and scored 14 points while sinking two threes and shooting 6-of-8 from the floor overall.

His career-high 29 points on a blistering 80 percent shooting led the team by a longshot, and his scoring surge from the second unit was the definitive difference-maker in a victory that evened the season series for Denver.
