5. A career-high-tying 11 assists versus Chicago (01/08/20)

Dating back to his lone season at Duke, Ingram has always thrived with the ball in his hands. He could always create for himself and, more importantly, was always willing to get shots for his teammates.

The willingness to pass was apparent back at the beginning of the new year. The Chicago Bulls had traveled to New Orleans but Ingram was having an off night in the shooting department, finishing 7-for-19 overall and 4-of-11 from distance.

It was amid these struggles where Ingram tapped into his underrated playmaking gifts to the tune of a career-high-tying 11 assists to go with 29 points and eight rebounds. He supplemented his poor efficiency by aggressively attacking the basket and earning trips to the line, finishing 11-of-12 from the stripe.

Off nights in the scoring column happen to even the top-level players, but the great ones make sure to contribute elsewhere in that event.

Ingram did exactly that on this night in a 123-108 win, showing off the full range of the talents that make it difficult for defenses to fully shut him down across the entirety of a game.
