Mix and matching skills to visualize the ideal NBA player
Every NBA player brings varying strengths to the court, but which ones could combine to form an unstoppable player with no weakness?
Strengths and weaknesses lie within every NBA player. It’s what makes them all unique, the notion that each brings their own set of skills to contribute in various ways.
But what would it look like if a player seemingly had no weakness? If his NBA 2K grade was a 99 with every attribute maxed out? We’re not just talking skills, but also the physical and mental attributes that give some of the best players their signature edge.
Piecing together what this ideal combination would look like comes with the acceptance of the notion that some of these skills are only present due to existing factors and couldn’t/wouldn’t mesh with others.
Stephen Curry‘s elite sniper skills might not draw as much praise without his mesmerizing handles or maybe the strength of LeBron James wouldn’t be as pronounced in the absence of his 6’8” standing.
This exercise will consist only of players from the current year. A historical version could be seen at a later date.
Visualizing the outcome is an entirely different ballgame, one that might prove too difficult to pull off. More than the attempt to turn fantast into some form of reality, this activity is a compliment to all who make the list for the top-flight something they bright to the table.
