With reports surfacing that the Brooklyn Nets will be active in the offseason trade market, we’ll check out some names they should look into acquiring.

The Brooklyn Nets first season with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant in the fold was a dud. While the expectations weren’t high to begin with, it’s safe to say they underwhelmed.

Durant was never going to play in the 2019-2020 campaign, but fans were still disappointed when he was ultimately ruled out from any postseason appearance. If they made it.

Brooklyn went just 30-34 before the NBA hiatus commenced, and spent the last month fighting for their playoff seeding in light of Irving’s season-ending surgery.

Definitely not the year fans or the front office envisioned for the club after committing four years to both stars in deals worth $164 and $141 million respectively. Now, reports are surfacing that the Nets will look to buy high on star insurance in the trade market.

The Nets are talking championship.

Who should they look into acquiring to help them achieve their goal?
