3. Udoka Azubuike (Kansas)

Best-case comparison: DeAndre Jordan; Realistic comparison: Mitchell Robinson

Udoka Azubuike is a 7’0” center from Kansas with an elite ability as a rim runner and shot-blocker who would fit perfectly alongside Siakam. With Siakam’s ability to shoot the three and drive to the basket, it would open up pick and roll and dump off dunk opportunities for Azubuike.

Azubuike’s elite-level athleticism gives him the ability to get up way above the rim to throw down some incredible lobs. His athleticism also contributes to his great help defense. Azubuike is one of the best help defenders in the country, anchoring this Kansas defense with 2.6 blocks per game.

He’s also a great rebounder at 10.5 per game. Finally, Udoka Azubuike is an incredibly efficient scorer. He shot 74.8 percent from the field on 7.8 field goal attempts per game (all two-point attempts).

The one drawback of Azubuike’s game is that he’s a poor free throw shooter at 44.1 percent. This is certainly something he will need to address if he wants to play a long NBA career. Udoka Azubuike could be a perfect fit alongside Siakam and would be a good piece for the Raptors future if selected by the team.
