6. Zeke Nnaji (Arizona)

Best-case comparison: Jusuf Nurkic; Realistic comparison: Taj Gibson

Zeke Nnaji is a 6’11” center from Arizona. He’s somewhat of an old school, back to the basket type of big man, but he’s still a pretty raw talent. He would pair nicely alongside Siakam, as he’s athletic, can knock it down from the mid-range and has good enough mechanics that he could figure out a 3-point shot a few years into his career.

Nnaji constantly drives to the rim with reckless abandon, which often leads to him being quite out of control. However, he’s still a solid finisher around the basket, having made 58.6 percent of his two-pointers this season at Arizona and could easily increase that if he drove to the basket with more control.

Although, his relatively out-of-control drives lead to 6.3 free-throw attempts per game, of which he converts at a 76.0 percent clip. He’s also a solid offensive rebounder which will be beneficial at the next level. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have the greatest defensive instincts.

Zeke Nnaji can have a successful NBA career by being a solid scoring and defensive big man. I think Nnaji would fit best next to a 3-and-D power forward, like P.J. Tucker for example, who could allow him to do what he does best, which is scoring the basketball.
