Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis has been a solid addition. Here’s a look at his top five games from the 2019-20 NBA season.

The Los Angles Lakers came into the 2019-20 campaign on the heels of six straight seasons without making it to the playoffs. Such a streak was not acceptable for this once-proud franchise.

With that being said, the Lakers made several moves during the offseason. They traded for Anthony Davis. They also acquired Danny Green, Dwight Howard, DeMarcus Cousins (who has been sidelined with an ACL injury) along with a few perimeter shooters.

Thanks to the revamped roster, the Lakers have the second-best record in the NBA and the best record in the Western Conference. Even more important, Los Angeles is ranked third in points allowed, allowing 106.9 points per contest. The team also has the third-best defensive rating at 105.6 points per 100 possessions.

One of the biggest reasons why the Lakers are one of the best defensive teams in the association is the addition of Davis, who is considered a viable candidate to win the Defensive Player of the Year award. Davis has provided Lakers fan with some memorable moments before the NBA was forced to suspend the season due to the coronavirus.

With that being said, here’s a look at some of Davis’ most memorable outings from this season.
