5. Rick Fox
Rick Fox might belong in the Mt. Rushmore of the Lakers dynasty in the early ’00s that earned them a three-peat and the first three championships of the century.
Fox has played for just two teams during his NBA career. Those teams are, you guessed it, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. His journey started in the Eastern Conference with the Celtics, ending in California.
His days with the Celtics are rarely remembered, despite being his best playing recollections of his career. One explanation would be that Boston was a lottery team back then. Isn’t it easier to remember an NBA Champion?
History shows that you need an annoying pest to get under the other team’s skin. #NBAFinals

In 1997, Fox was a free agent and decided to sign for a team with championship aspirations. The Lakers were a team led by a young duo of Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant and were bound to succeed sooner rather than later.
He would start in the majority of the team’s games during the seven-year span he was there for, before getting traded to the, you guessed it, Boston Celtics. The young and rebuilding C’s had no use for a regressing Fox and waived him later on without even using him once.
